By using Twime, you agree to the collection and use of information described in this policy. We will never sell your personal data to third parties.

Information We Collect

We collect only what's necessary to make Twime work beautifully for you and your partner:

• Account information such as your name and email address when you register
• Task and note content that you create within the app
• Partner connection data, meaning which accounts are linked together
• Basic device information for troubleshooting and compatibility
• Usage analytics to help us improve the experience (anonymised)

How We Use Information

Your information is used solely to provide, maintain, and improve Twime. Specifically, we use it to:

• Sync your tasks and notes between your devices and your partner's
• Send you optional notifications about tasks and reminders
• Detect and prevent abuse or fraudulent activity
• Analyse aggregate, anonymised usage trends to improve the product
• Respond to your support requests and feedback

Data Storage

Your data is stored securely on servers located within the European Economic Area. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). Private tasks are end-to-end encrypted — not even we can read them.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, all personal data is permanently erased within 30 days.

Third-Party Services

Twime uses a small number of carefully selected third-party services to operate:

• Cloud infrastructure providers for data hosting and delivery
• Analytics tools that receive only anonymised, aggregated data
• Payment processors for any future premium features (no card data touches our servers)

We never share identifiable information with advertisers or data brokers.

Your Rights

Under GDPR and applicable privacy laws, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You can exercise these rights directly within the app under Settings → Privacy, or by contacting us.

Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Twime application and services. By downloading, installing, or using Twime, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use Twime. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time with reasonable notice provided in-app.

User Accounts

To use Twime, you must create an account using a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must:

• Be at least 16 years old to create an account
• Provide accurate and current registration information
• Keep your password secure and notify us of any unauthorised access
• Not share your account with anyone other than your designated partner within the app

Acceptable Use

Twime is designed to help couples organise their lives together. You agree not to use the app for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could harm others. Prohibited uses include:

• Using the app to harass, threaten, or monitor another person without consent
• Attempting to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the service
• Creating fake accounts or misrepresenting your identity
• Uploading content that is illegal, offensive, or violates third-party rights

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these conditions without prior notice.

Intellectual Property

All intellectual property in Twime — including the app design, branding, code, and content we provide — belongs to Twime or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Content you create within Twime (your tasks, notes, and other data) remains yours. You grant Twime a limited licence to store and process it solely to provide the service.

Limitation of Liability

Twime is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of Twime shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim, or £50, whichever is greater.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without notice depending on the severity of the violation.

Upon termination, your access to the service will end immediately. Data deletion will follow the schedule outlined in our Privacy Policy.
